LT Sambo has returned to the top 50 in this year's Construction Capability Evaluation for the first time in four years, building on its swing back to profit last year. Improved
operating performance lifted its management evaluation value more than 15-fold year on year, pulling its ranking up from 74th to 50th. Strong overseas business and a more
diversified project portfolio underpinned the rebound.
Overseas business was at the center of the improvement. LT Sambo generated KRW 360.5 billion overseas last year, equal to 46.1% of total revenue. While expanding from its
Singapore base into Hong Kong and the Middle East, a 47.5% year-on-year increase in revenue at overseas subsidiaries drove the improvement in consolidated results.
On the strength of that overseas competitiveness, the company also received the 2025 Overseas Construction Tower Award (USD 2 billion tier) and was named to ENR's
"Top 250 Global Contractors."
Portfolio diversification also helped improve profitability. Moving beyond a business structure centered on specialized foundation civil works, LT Sambo is building a portfolio
spanning infrastructure civil engineering, building construction and overseas projects. In particular, it has identified high valueadded infrastructure areas — the Yongin
semiconductor cluster, the GTX metropolitan express rail network, power grids, nuclear power and renewable energy — as future growth pillars and concentrated
its capabilities on winning more orders.
