Introduction of construction method

Cast-In-Place pile method is to form piles in the ground by drilling ground holes with excavation equipment and placing concrete in the perforation holes after introducing the stress material (reinforcing bars, H-BEAM). Compared to conventional pile driving method, it is advantageous for downtown construction because there is little noise and vibration, In particular, it is possible to construct large diameter piles. According to the mechanical excavation method, it is classified into RCD, PRD, EARTH DRILL, and deep foundation method.

Type of construction method

R.C.D method

Introduction

The R.C.D. (Reverse Circulation Drill Method) method is one of the typical large-scale cast-in-place concrete pile construction methods. After installation of casing, it is excavated while maintaining the wall of driven hole by hydrostatic pressure and natural mud water occurring during excavation. In the excavation method, a special roller bit is attached to the end of the drill rod, and the rock is excavated by rotating 360 degrees. The shredded and excavated soil is discharged through the drill rod pipe, and the discharged circulating water is circulated to the excavator through the settling pond.

    • - Continuous excavation allows deep excavation

    • - The deeper the depth, the more economical and faster the construction speed

    • - Used as a coping method that requires large bearing capacity such as bridge foundation

    • - Low-noise, low-vibration construction method is applied to eco-friendly urban areas.

    • - Large diameter drilling of 1500mm ~ 3000mm is possible

  • Marine area

    • 1. Jack-up barge + guide frame combination,

      • - It is used in shallow sedimentary layers with a depth of 5m or less.

      • - Easy to install but expensive to operate the equipment

    • 2. Flat barge + guide jacket combination

      • - Can be installed when there is a deep support sedimentary layer above 5m depth

      • - They are piles acting as anchors in the sedimentary layers of the sea bed and Guide jackets should be installed

      • - It is advantageous in deep sediments and low equipment operation cost

    • 3. 5000mm, 7500mm large diameter excavation is possible (We hold patent for our equipment and construction method)

P.R.D method

Introduction

It is a type of foundation that supports ground structures, which excavates the ground by rotating it while blowing it with compressed air, and discharging the excavated soil with compressed air. The existing foundation method is applied to one or two strata, but this construction method can be applied to various kinds of soil layering, rock foundation, prevention of slope movement and TOP-DOWN construction. It is a construction method that can secure the grounding force with a cross section corresponding to the diameter of 600mm ~ 1200mm which is slightly smaller than R.C.D Pile

Chracteristics
  • Can apply into a variety of calibers
  • Can be constructed with one pile without joint
  • Low air pressure reduces damage to nearby structures and low civil complaints
  • Simultaneous hammering with the casing shortens the construction period
  • There is little damage to the head of plies and the pile itself without hitting

Earth Drill method

Introduction

Generally, it is a method to excavate with a bucket or earth-drill excavator and to form a cast-in-place pile by concrete pouring without the need to maintain the wall of driven hole by the use of a casing or a stabilizer liquid

Characteristics
  • Easy to install equipment and easy to move equipment
  • Compared with other construction methods, It is fast in terms of construction speed and economical.
  • Because it is low noise and low vibration, it is suitable for construction of city area.
  • Slope construction is possible
  • excavation efficiency is the highest in clay soil and loam soil without stabilizer liquid

Deep foundation method(caisson pile)

Introduction

This method is to excavate by using manpower for concrete foundation construction such as vertical gang excavation from the ground and earth shielding installation with steel pipe. This is a method of making the concrete foundation construction including the vertical gang excavation work easier, and more efficiently & reliably while minimizing noise and vibration in a narrow place, a narrow space, and a sloping place in which a equipment is difficult to enter.

  • the equipment is compact and lightweight, excavation and earth shielding can be simply installed
  • It can be installed on slopes and narrow places, any place which has small work radius on the ground
  • Because it is man-made excavation, it is possible to directly check the ground condition and the condition of concrete pouring, so it is possible to construct a high quality pile.
  • It is possible to work while removing underground obstacles (conventional existing foundations, boulder stones, etc.)
  • little vibration and noise during working
